First African Implementation of Four Winds Interactive Digital Signage
at Sheraton Addis Ababa, a 5 star Resort and Conference Center in the
city of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Four Winds Interactive, a leader in digital signage solutions, is excited
to announce the installation and launch of a digital signage network at the
Sheraton Addis.

Built on a hill overlooking the city of Addis Ababa in
Ethiopia, the Sheraton Addis is a 5-star hotel part of the exclusive
"Luxury Collection" brand under Starwood Hotels & Resorts. The hotel
provides the largest and most prestigious banquet and conference facilities
in Ethiopia. It has a first class spa, outdoor swimming pool, a great
selection of on-property restaurants and one of the trendiest night clubs
in Addis.
In conjunction with OraTech Consulting, a local reseller, Four Winds
Interactive installed the digital signage network on 5 signs throughout the
property. Two of the displays are located in the lobby, one near the
ballroom, one in the foyer leading to the conference rooms, and one near a
popular restaurant. Encased in a detached enclosure designed to match the
décor of the conference area, each screen displays the conference center's
event list, integrated with the hotel's Opera event management system, and
multiple ads for resort amenities. Omar Carrera, Director of Sales &
Marketing at the Sheraton Addis said that the solution offers a
"great way to do internal marketing to the guest in a clear, professional
way which is easy to update."
Clyde Craig, from Four Winds Interactive, traveled 19 hours each way to
manage the install and training at the Sheraton Addis. He praised the
knowledge and proficiency of their IT department and had the pleasure of
enjoying the local flavor at a genuine Ethiopian restaurant.
