The Hard Rock Hotel - San Diego
Located in downtown San Diego at the entrance to the Gaslamp Quarter, Hard Rock San Diego opened its doors in the fall of 2007 with an innovative digital signage solution in multiple locations throughout the property.
The hotel amplified guest communication with three displays in the lobby and nine displays in their meeting space.? Utilizing the screens in both a vertical and horizontal orientation, Hard Rock San Diego is taking advantage of the software's broad range of supported content types.? The solution utilizes FWi's unique dynamic wayfinding feature, which requires both the wayfinding and data integration features to work in sync with one another to output event icons on the digital map.
Hard Rock San Diego is also using the signage to show in-house amenity ads, meeting room information and live video of concerts that are taking place in their concert venue.? The template design is especially unique in that it displays the map and the event list concurrently on the same screen, utilizing a full feature map, with an abbreviated event list below the map.
