Qualcomm Interactive Kiosk
Qualcomm was looking for a digital sign solution that offered a visual introduction to the different departments and programs offered at Qualcomm. Qualcomm Digital Signage: Customized for Success
Incorporated in the Qualcomm digital signage design were more than 60 corporate images, videos, power points, text, and flash - all accessible via eight interactive buttons. For the Qualcomm digital signage, they decided that the content should be organized in specific groups to be associated with each category. Through the Four Winds Interactive (FWi) software platform, each content group was sorted and incorporated into its respective sub-category. The customization of the digital sign is a good testament to what's possible with signage. Qualcomm digital display kiosks can be updated quickly and easily since all of the different content types are broken up into groups. These dynamic signs are user-friendly and time efficient.
Jim Bartolomea, Qualcomm's Onboarding Project Lead, offered his insight into the Qualcomm digital signage project. "Internally, the response at Qualcomm has been overwhelmingly positive. We're using the kiosks as an informative tool, not for cross-sell or promotional purposes, so we needed a system and a design that would capture the audience's attention in a novel format. Qualcomm's internal partners have been especially responsive to the system and think it's a great way to deliver an abundance of information to our employees."
