Digital Signage

Digital Signage for Education

Cornell University

Cornell University's Johnson School of Business was looking for a digital signage solution to increase communication with students, visitors and staff. Showcasing dynamic content on both static and interactive displays, the school has installed six non-interactive displays and one interactive touch screen.

The interactive sign serve as a hub for event schedules, building and campus maps, and building directory information. With multiple interactive buttons incorporated into the design, the digital signs give students and visitors several options for getting the information they're looking for.

The non-interactive signs display event lists being pulled directly from Cornell's internal event management system. Also showcasing photos and video, the screens break through the clutter of boring paper signage and reach out to their audience in an eye-catching, dynamic format.

An interesting feature of the screens is the mapping functionality. Cornell is displaying a building map in multiple formats for optimal viewing. Once the map is triggered, you can see it in both 2D and 3D to give you a better understanding of where you are and where you're going.
