What restaurants use digital displays in their kitchens?

Many different types of restaurants use digital displays in their kitchens, just as there are different potential benefits for a back-of-house digital signage system. For one, digital displays are much easier to see and read than a print ticket. Moreover, while there will be energy costs, it's still likely cheaper to go paperless. More importantly, print tickets are easily dropped or lost and may even present a fire hazard during peak hours. Digital displays allow grilling/frying times and lead cook instructions to be viewed right next to station orders. Digital displays also create superior prioritizing and sorting of information. For example, a digital display can display urgent orders in a higher queue priority and even alter the way the content is displayed so kitchen staff notice. Generally speaking, restaurants with large, sprawling kitchens that are more susceptible to miscommunication and disjointed cooking operations may receive the most benefit and return on investment when installing digital displays in the kitchen.
